If you were casting it form phone to TV, or streaming directly from the TV via phone WiFi hotspot I might be impressed.

    j/k.

I'm currently being challenged by the limitations of HDMI ARC (data only, no volume control from source)...

IMHO, it's just plain stupid to offer HDMI output, that is nearly the latest standard including ARC (not eARC), and not allow volume control from the source.

I bought a receiver and soundbar for my RV due to the massive suckness of the factory mobile head unit and ceiling speakers, and expected a little more cooperation with HDMI.

I'll be replacing the ceiling and outdoor speakers soon, but wanted something a little closer to surround without actually installing the full gamut of speakers.

I'll make it work through my harmony hub/remote, but HDMI-ARC really should support volume control from the source.

nice of the Avs to just rollover and die with a Game 7 on the line against the best team in the NHL. what an embarrassment.

Great season and I'm excited to see what next year brings but we need a better goalie. Hammond despite his Game 5 heroics is too inconsistent.

    Howdy,

Celebration of life for Mrs. T was today, lots of folks and doing some tributes to/for her. Was a long day but it went well considering 17 or so folks involved.

Back to work, right?....Happy Monday, and hope we have a good week.

Fowl update! One is definitely a rooster.

    Trying out roosts.

Here it looks like maybe they like me, but really they are just trying to get back to the rest of the flock and were pissed that I separated them in the first place. So angry, that they completely ignored the huge ant pile I brought them to and didn't eat a single one. Worthless.

Left them inside one day when the weather was bad. They got bored and let themselves out of the pool and shit everywhere all day. They are in the garage now. Very nice to have that back room back so I can (theoretically) continue to put the rest of the house back together.
