Or charge for a missed appointment.

I like the story of the guy that wants to cancel his appointment same day and they say they will charge for a missed appointment with less than 24 hours notice. He asks if he can just reschedule his appointment, for which they tell him that is OK. He changes his appointment to a week out. He then asks if he can cancel his appt that's now one week out and they do so without question. Problem solved!

Every Dr visit the referrals dept calls to tell me i have an 8:15 or 30 apt. Every time they call i have to explain to a referrals dept in 1 state how it's impossible to be there (in a different state) at that time as i am 2 hrs away from their specialist. OH exactly where are you located? The same place i was 2 weeks ago when we have this same conversation.
They pulled the same shit when in CO. Ok we're sending you to X for an MRI, in Pueblo. Umm once again, Pueblo is 3 hours (1 way) for me. Oh where are you, again?

I then call the dr office directly, speaking to a local person, who understands the logistics.

I spent an exceptional amount of time modifying an '02 F series 7.3 trans dipstick tube to fit into a '79 with the 7.3 in it. I FINALLY got the fukker modified enough to fit/clear and function properly. (picture dog chasing tail here). I probably bent the tube 12 times,(fill it with sand and empty it out) and messed with the head mount bracket 25 times at least. The "crawl into the cab, then go out to the firewall"....run over to the vice, bend it different, run back to the cab/firewall thing....blew ass....tiring and frustrating.

Modified the tunnel opening with 1/4-20 nutserts instead of the factory speed nut/screw plan, and had to open all the cover holes to line up right for the serts.

Started fitting the carpet and getting the trim holes opened back up again, cut the shifter hole and mount the boot when the carpet gets relaxed.

Dropped off the bench seat at the upholstery shop to get new pad and cover.

And I found out that my bumper is finally getting shipped and I should have it next week. So, I better get those lights a comin' and get that switch plate shit figured out.

    Nice.

Hindsight, but I probably would have tried to mock up the bends with a coat hanger wire first - to at least get close. :-D

Lady at the zoo just whipped her tit out and started feeding her kid, no cover or anything, guess that's where we are at. I'M not complaining, but I guess she doesn't take anyone else into consideration.

Thanks,...and the optimistic me had the idea that the '02 F stuff "should be close enough already". That's when the argument started...lol.

Some folks like detail, others would rather have the time instead of building a watch.

When full blown reality reared it's ugly head, heels dug in...….. I accepted the glove slap and said... "F...U, Mr. Dipstick tube....you will be my bitch". Biggest problem was one that I couldn't see. Firewall....I sink the tube into position, in cab I insert tube into the short fixed E4OD tube. This was all the preliminary bend assessment which was expected, but the head bracket stuff kept messing with me because when I was in the cab inserting the tubes, I didn't know that the upper part of the tube was affecting the head bracket location depending on which side of the back pressure delete "nub" it was on. So, I'd be in cab and make a bracket change decision, disconnect the tubes, then go firewall and remove the tube for mods. The next time I'd set it in position from firewall, go in cab to connect tubes, and the upper tube was on the other side of the nub...but I didn't know that. Disconnect tube, go to firewall and remove tube, make changes, and so on, and so on.

Once I figured out wtf was going on, I finally got it right. X ray vision certainly would have helped in that scenario. It's neato now though.

I hear ya man....I like tits just like everyone else, and as Ron White said..."Once you've seen one tit......you want to see them all". Something creepy about the whole kid suckin' on a tit in public thing for me too.

Just seems inconsiderate, my wife always used a cover, most of the time I think they are attention whores, and possibly trolling in hopes someone will say something to them.

Yeah, a cover would be appropriate I think.

How was the zoo btw? I've not been there in a very long time. I know they put a giraffe down recent, and the polar bears are gone.

Zoo is good, we have the membership, so I'd say we have probably been 30 times this year, certainly have gotten our money's worth. We also have the museum membership, which I really enjoy, but the kids don't appreciate it as much as the zoo.
