The only good one in had ever been to was in a town outside KC,MO back about early 2000. Awesome food but when the branches up here opened I was severely disappointed.

Everyone has their own tastes and such. I can remember eating over at the Kings Table off 92nd and Sheridan years ago..might have been Wadsworth. Most of those buffet style deals really weren't all that good when ya think about the whole "dining experience" so to speak. Furs, Golden Shower, Little Banquet (for those that wear that many years under your belt).

All that stuff was/is quantity but not quality. Is it eatin'?....yes low(er) buck...yes. Boy I can tell ya though, I ..USED.. to really put it away when I was a young man, and the buffets were a great way to really pig out if you have the room to go back a couple of times. Some of the Vegas buffets are pretty damn good though, and a few up the hill here are decent too.

    Remember the Copper Kitchen?

Mazin, I'm telling you, there are a bunch of videos on YouTube of people handling wild possums, even ones with babies. When a buddy was first telling me about that, I thought he was just messing with me and trying to get my face bit off.

I was profiled today while shopping at a furniture store....which is okay because it's what people formerly accepted as Reality. T-shirt and blue jeans looking at some fairly expensive shit, but when I started asking specifics about options and stuff...the guy starts adding up the total for me like I'd walk away from my interest in the product because it was "too expensive for a slob like you" type of deal.

Doesn't bother me at all really, but it's interesting how much it pisses so many other people off. I had planned to call a local news station and gather my friends to picket at the store front for the rest of the weekend, but then I remembered that life isn't fair for everyone all the time, and reality is a good thing to familiarize yourself and remain acquainted with on a regular basis.

I LOVE people thinking I'm poor, especially if I'm making a big purchase.

One time we took the dog for a walk to a grocery store. I stood outside with the dog while family picked some things up. I wasn't dressed to the T's so to speak. I really enjoyed watching people cutting a wide swath around me and was hoping someone would give me a dollar. If you walk (or ride your bike somewhere) people just automatically assume you're poor.

Shit better not tell my wife that she already wants a bunch of mini farm animals, yea why not add a opossum to the mix too. I actually thought it was the dudes pet at the start because he just came running when the guy was calling. So you gonna bring home one for your farm or maybe pickup Snipers (wont say it) Little rooster Joe Dirte?

People started eating liver and onions during WWII when the government ran a campaign to get people to start eating more organs and "waste" meat because of shortages from the war.

I wish I had more time to mess around with wildlife while I'm down here. While my wife and kid would love a silky, I already killed the roosters we had for the exact same reason. The weekend I killed mine, asshole neighbors were lighting mortars STARTING at 3:00 am. The fucking rooster started crowing that morning when the fire works went off and and didn't stop until I killed him that afternoon.
