speaking of chili. contractors arrived around 10 this morning, dressed up like they were out shoveling snow. Long pants, sweat shirts (hoodies for the kids) hats, gloves. Outside temp in the shade 50 deg.

Like 3 weeks ago it's a light rain. I'm heading out of Fry's (AZ version of Krogers Kings) wearing shorts & a t-shirt. Old[er] lady comes up and says. Young Man, you should really be wearing warmer cloths. I'm from CO, Oh never mind. Temp @ 9:30 in the a.m. 62 deg

While down in the Valley (phoenix) their average overnight temp runs high 60's to low 70's and they're dressed as if an inch of snow is on the ground.

Last Oct, heading up through the sierra's from Sacramento CA side. 1 of only 2 english speaking radio stations dj's is giving the weather report. She says today's high will be in the low 70's. Looks like soup weather is finally here

No, that was last weeks 10 qt batch, made with 7.5 lbs of my apple smoked pork. To top it off i made a batch of chili chocolate chip cookies.
