My first & second tactical rifle matches were the best 'classes' I could have hoped for; I was truly terrible & I came back better each time. I wasnt unhappy with my last 2 out of the 4 all day. Long way to go before I'll say I'm any good at it & why I'm disappointed I have to wait until April. I'm not too proud to admit when I don't know what I'm doing or own that I suck at something when I first try. I'm fortunate because I always learn & usually right quick.

Bowling pin match. I did a few (when i had a ride) Lost the 1st one due to the other shooters pin hitting the ground a sec, if that before mine. 2nd wasn't bad, they're more for fun. Inquired at 2 indoor ranges if they do a pin match, umm not really we're more tactical. Oh is that due to people trying a pin match and it was too hard for them? Derp.........

I was going to build a rocket 'strike', still might if I don't find another use for them.

Powder coat business we have used in the past went out of business, it's been a while. Found a new mom and pop type place from a reference, and if they do well I'll be happy to pass the info along to anyone interested in getting any powder coating done.

Don't be too hard on yourself, and keep practicing. Maybe get yourself some laser cartridges in a few different calibers, you can do some fun stuff with those in your own home. If nothing else, it's aim and trigger discipline without question....but also draw/handling/feet/posture...and if you have multiple targets set up around your practice area, acquisition. It does kinda suck not having recoil to manage, but you can work on a lot of things also including safety and procedure protocol as well.

I see what happened there. I was being very 'Norwegian' & that was mistaken for self deprecation. Thank you for the suggestions & encouragement. Ive never tried lasers specific to practice, what do you mean?
