Bought a bunch of shit from amazon today and late last week. Not expensive stuff but shit I need.

Amazon will most likely run the planet someday.

Bad news surfaced today, found out my step mother has stage 4 colon cancer.

Shit like that takes a while to sink in, I fear that her general poor state of health will not benefit her while trying to fight off the big C. I don't think she'll have long before she succumbs. That will also mean that my Dad is gonna need a lot of help. I'm already helping to take care of one elderly gentleman, and the load is gonna double up.

So sorry about this. Hang in there. I’m not far, if I can help.

Thank you Fentonite. Making meals and taking care of stuff for Mr. Thompson is kinda tough already.....and my Dad is gonna need much of the same stuff for him. I don't know how all this is gonna play out, it's sad...but wtf can you do? They say the good lord doesn't give you any more than you can handle, and I guess I'm gonna find out. Certainly my prayers are with my step mother and her children and my Dad of course. I expect a pretty rough next couple of months trying to help them however I can.

There’s some sort of app or service I heard of recently where people can sign up to volunteer to deliver meals in times of need. Let me look into it, maybe we can lighten your load.

This is the service I heard about.

Look into it. If it’s something that might be helpful to your family, I’d be willing to spearhead it and try to get it up and running. Never done it, so don’t know much about it, but might be worth a try.

That is awesome, Sir. Your offer is greatly appreciated most certainly.

There are a lot of unknowns for me heading into this new territory, thank you very much.
