Someone mentioned 'it' yesterday & I decided that I'm going to try a different (not Hoser's pueblo) outlaw tactical rifle match. Best part, I (probably) have to switch ammo to meet the match requirements & will have NO opportunity to practice because I'll be out of town until 8 hours before. If I'm lucky the morning of the match I'll get to do a quick adjust zero with an unfamiliar slow poke punch ammo (~2800fps), click click click & that'll have to do. Poit!

No dope for new ammo, in cold weather, out to 800 will ensure that it'll be an interesting if not expensive public lesson in improvisation, my understanding of ballistics, & old fashioned stubbern. Yay.

I'm really looking forward to it. Hehehe

Get a decent ballistics app for your phone and or tablet to get you a good starting point. iSnipie is free and has a whole lot of factory ammo configured in it, just plug in wind speed & direction, temp and up/down angle and it will show a ballistic arc and MOA correction for any distance you prescribe.
