Yeah, Brutal. Actually I am interested.

I've been looking for over a month trying to find someone who can do what I want. Tonight I've been sitting here thinking about all the ways I can use the material I bought for it's original purpose and not have it look retarded when it was done. I made some progress and came up with some decent ideas actually, however none of it really comes close to the cleaner look of the "U" shaped traditional nerf bar with about a 23 degree angle 1 foot in from perimeter to get centered to frame plate. Except 1 *maybe*...and that would still be really labor intensive for a guy with limited quality equipment and ability to duplicate the same cuts with precision multiple times.

None of the garbage aftermarket products I've been able to find are acceptable.

It would be cool if there was some posting application where I could draw what I envision, and posting pics blows ass.

If you cut some pipe with an I.D of the needed O.D. Using a 12 - 20T press could possibly get the bends one needs. You're going to need some torches also.

I'll be diligently wiring tomorrow, and probably moving the headliner back 1/4 inch. There are two spots rearward where the headliner has relief for screw holes that are slightly visible with the molding in place, and I don't like it.

Hell or high water though, I need to get this nerf bar thing satisfactory one damn way or another...and have it be strong and not look like shit. Besides, someday you're gonna tell someone you know who sees that truck...."I know that guy, he's an asshole, but he sure did an awesome job building that truck, it's beautiful".
