Just bored intermittently because I?m out of town for work this week.

It?s almost like a vacation. Just doing some training this week. Weather is pretty decent by Houston standards so that a plus. I think it hit 83 today.

Half a day tomorrow and I?m done and then I?m going to see my folks for a couple of days before I head back.

Found a job down there that suited my "skills" sometime back, but I didn't want to deal with F5 tornadoes AND hurricanes as well.

The guy was all jazzed I had certs for stuff and all that, and it was solid to be searching for specific employment at the time.

So, I suddenly started craving ice cream. Which is weird because I?m not really big into sweets.

Googled and it looks like there aren?t any ice cream places close by and the closest ones are closing @10.

Trying to decide if I should just take a shower and call it a night or go searching for ice cream.

Of course option C is to go to the bar and drink until I forget I want ice cream.

Perhaps there's Uber eats, Door dash, etc. I know it's not Vegas down there..but it might be worth looking into?

I dont particularly care to walk places for fun but I find it really odd that no one walks there...not without great risk of being smashed by a vehicle.
