It doesn't make sense to me. It's not like porch lights are new, or they have drastically changed shape over the years. The glass is even angled with the narrow part at the bottom to spill the light onto the ground better.

I get about 20 of those email/IM/etc during the day, 95% of them don't reply when I tell them it is available for sale. (seller getting ghosted)
I posted "item available for sale if you see this ad" on my ad now.


BTW I Just got another "is this available," message right after I posted about this.

I am 98% sure those people are just spammers (or spiders) that are collecting emails to turn over to companies that send out spam. I stopped replying to them long ago even though I use a junk email address for all online sales.

They probably saw it on an Internet video that was sold as some kind of 'life hack' to make it better that way. "The reflected light from the ceiling better illuminates the entire area."
