    It's not looking promising here for pronghorn, none to be seen for miles. Our cats will be disappointed, they love the meat.

    Well by golly I was headed to the truck and looked down to see the horns of a bedded buck right below me. Stalked to 62 yards and took him right there. How about that!

    But I'm 2 miles from the truck and it's walk in only....

    Thanks. Even though this is my forth big game and fifth game animal field dressed/skinned, I still feel like I don't know what I'm doing. I'm concerned I screwed up the cape. Also worried about the meat.
