They had that Thomas Dolby song playing in the Bakery of my Sam's Club yesterday. I was thinking, "They must have some old people working back there." Reminded me of a time before the Internet when things used to be fun and more laid back.

We enjoyed dinner at the Jamestown Mercantile this evening. http://www.jamestownmercantile.com/ Home cooking food wise but a nice break from the routine, we didn't have to cook. For several years The Merc has hosted an impressive array of musical performers like I've never seen since the old Tulagi's. We didn't stay for this evening's performance because we get up early but weekend outings are always possible. Mountain people are different from urbanoids in indescribable ways.

One of the best bar bands I've ever heard was at the bar in Guffey, CO during muzzleloader this September. I wanted to request some Concrete Blonde because the lady sounded just like her, but we left before I could ask.

They had two, but The Bull Moose closed. The remaining bar was bought by a new owner. It is busy when it's open. Decent food too.

Tulagi's, one of our favorite hang outs back in 80's.
