The rivet just holds the black plastic on. There are two small welds underneath. I've had this ladder for years and probably been up and down it 1,000 times. Got it free from a guy who likely used it even more for years before.

I took down my Rebel flag (which you can't buy on EBAY any more) and peeled
the NRA sticker off my front window.

I disconnected my home alarm system and quit the candy-ass Neighborhood
    Watch.

I bought two Pakistani flags and put one at each corner of the front yard.
Then I purchased the black flag of ISIS (which you CAN buy on EBAY) and ran
    it up the flag pole.

Now the local police, sheriff, FBI, CIA, NSA, Homeland Security, Secret
Service and other agencies are all watching my house 24/7. I've NEVER felt
safer and I'm saving $69.95 a month that ADT used to charge me.

Plus, I bought burkas for my wife and I, to wear when we shop or travel.
Everyone moves out of the way and security can't pat us down. If they say
I'm a male wearing a burka, I just say I'm feeling like a woman today.

    Default The More You Know....

    Speaking of "ok Karen"

During my Jr High school,I had Male friend name Karen.
Normally, he would have been made fun of all school year, but it was Glendale CA. He was safe.

    "Dude...Karen."

In Armenia Karen (Armenian: Կարեն, IPA: [kɑˈɾɛn]) is a common masculine given name.

The masculine given name Karen derived from the Parthian name of House of Karen (or Caren), one of the seven aristocratic families of ancient Iran. Several Iranian princes named Karen are known before and after the Islamic period. The Karen house ruled the Tabaristan region of Iran, which approximately corresponds to the current provinces of Gilan state and Mazandaran.

The masculine given name Garen is a Western Armenian form of the Eastern Armenian Karen.

I want to leave a book review on an Allen Drury work of fiction. Do you think "unnecessarily wordy as shit," is too succinct?

Well chit on 2020 again. Kid parked his car on a hill by a trailer park. (Stop me if you heard this one before) Some dumbass rolled back into his car and put his tow hitch through the grill, smashed the impact bar and dented and hooked the radiator. Of course he left without a note. Need new bumper cover, impact bar, radiator, grille and trim, AC tubing and who knows what else.
Part of me hopes the insurance just totals it, but of course they would low ball the crap out of an otherwise perfect car.
Now I am down a car again.

    Thanks 2020.

I would have paid out of pocket for that. Rather than filing another claim

FWIW: depending on vehicle a new , with warranty, radiator runs around $125-150 from autobone

So far my estimated rough parts list:
    Front crash bar $300 used
Bumper cover $200+ used or unpainted
    Paint matching $300 min
Radiator $50 used, probably $200 new
AC condenser probably same as radiator
Radiator frame might be busted too. $200 I think
    Bits and pieces estimate $200

It?s probably $1k worth of parts, not including my time plus paint and AC recharge. Get this done at body shop might be $3-4K. Insurance might total it. My deductible is $500 but I am sure they will jack rates for reasons.
Shame because this car has the oil burn fixed $4+k at dealer by previous owner, and 15k miles on new clutch and flywheel about $800+ in parts and I did the labor. Unfortunately this model year is dropping in value due to oil consumption and most used prices do not include a fixed engine.
Finding the parts is hard as most local. junkyard cars have a front end crash.
I need to get a spare car at this rate.

    Frustration level at 11.
