Gah! Finally settled on a commuter car. But have to wait for seller to pass emissions. It?s killing me Smalls.

Car has a tune and after removing it the obd2 needs time to normalize. Hope to get it by Friday. Then put the tune back on and give it a nice once over.

    Yikes,

My A6 has passed emissions tune intact for 16 years. Granted it's only a L1 OBD injected ECM tune, but I don't even turn it to "factory" for the test. Just did one again yesterday.

    So what's the new ride?

S40 Volvo, awd. Yeah not sure why this tune does what it does.

What year is your A6. Audi gets the lines right in the A6 and the A8 monsters. Wanted an A8 really bad, but that?s not a 100 mile commute car.

I like how they pull a SF and let everyone cross into Gig Harbor but charge to get out.

Cool that you found something there, beautiful countryside.

Just like NYC. You want to leave? Ok that's $10.

    Buying a car today.
How is this for my luck today. After emission pass issues are resolved I finally arrange to buy the car today. Drive out to meet the seller half way and text him ?are we on? and then ?See you soon?. No response really. Hmmm. Ok maybe he is on the way and doesn?t want to text and drive. On way I get a text of running behind. Ok fine. Almost get there and I get a phone call. Oh oh. He left the car in gear and fired it up popped the clutch or the clutch switch is messed up. Car jumped forward and impacted a garage door. Damage to bumper cover. Headlight washer crushed. Sigh. He will get it fixed ASAP and get back to me. I was looking forward to the car but now I am luke warm on it. Still might do it but I need a commuter ASAP. Can?t and don?t want to wait several weeks until it?s done. Also worried that if it gets done in 2 days there is some short cuts being taken. Longmont to Centennial is a pain in my suburban. Damit.

Well, made it 40 years with the old bag as of today.

Guess I'll have to keep her after all.

j/k. We have two wonderful sons who are great father's to our 2 beautiful grandson's. Life is good.

P.S. Dinner at Ruth's Chris was kind of a bust. My steak was a piece of grizzle.

That's the math. My time is worth more than that.

40 years is quite the accomplishment. Congrats.

Also, you?re way older than I imagined.
