At Safeway today, I was in the lot and walking towards the entrance.... Mongo had just rounded up the carts from the return bin, and I was passing an old woman unloading her shit.

I said Hey, I could use a cart, mind if I help you unload your stuff in your car. She was happy to have the help, and I reminded her to not forget her purse. The store didn't have all the shit I needed, so I had to go across the way to the Nazi regime that calls itself "Walgreens" to get hosed over there. In the checkout line I was about to get totally fucked over because I don't have an "SS" card, the customer at the register next to me punched in her code for me.

The purchase that would have been $45 without the card of the racist party, was then the $11 dollars that the tag on the shelf indicated in the first place. I thanked her very much.


Kindness happens and there are some good folks in this little town.

Ours are closely related, I get them in the house all the time. Or I should say, used to. You can get UV flashlights at harbor freight or lowes cheap. I started exterminating them in a broad area around the house and it solves the problem. Over 145 killed last year. Only at about 14 so far this year. Usually just pack a hammer and the UV light. Another pro, people stay away too.
