When I broke my collarbone, they had me in a sling for six weeks. My hand still worked, however, so I cheated.

Some of you might remember the shoulder stuff I went through some years back. I've messed up my hands before, but nothing that lasted six or eight weeks or whatever it's gonna be.

I'm not a pussy, but somehow I'm worried about this business. Shoulders never really did heal right, and I need my fuckin hands to work. Tired of the constant pain though.

The kid is doing a whirlwind trip down south to see if he wants to move down there or not. Got to TN tonight, and I understand they had 17 inches of rain and severe flooding this weekend.

I've tried to tell him about the F4 tornadoes at 2:00 am, and hurricane leftovers, but he insists on checking it out. It'll be interesting to see where his head's at when he's done looking around.

Shoulders and hands are a cake walk, compared to an amputation and quad bypass surgery.

Six weeks is nothing, there's always someone worse off than you.

If it's muscular or tendons, ligaments, have you considered PRP?

I have some friends that swear by it. Not cheap and "experimental" so insurance likely won't cover it.

Since when as a young man, did you ever listen to advice from someone 30 yrs older than you? I've tried.
