Haha! I do like it. I figured it's time to go digital with books since they're cheaper and I can carry 100 books with me wherever I go. Then I saw that the Fire has a web browser and stuff and I was sold.
It's basically a scaled-down iPad. No camera or microphone and you can't synch to iTunes (my iPhone does all of that anyway). Less memory, and cool techie stuff, but the Fire is $200 and the new iPad is closer to $800. I guess the older iPads go for $500 or so. Oh yeah, WiFi ONLY with the Fire. Fine with me.
$200 for the Fire and it does exactly what I need it to do. $800 for an iPad? Eat me.
