Nah. I think I'm gonna hold off until I can get a steadier job and afford a payment on something halfway decent. All I can afford right now are used Saturn IONs and Ford Focuses. I'd rather take public transit.

Eventually gonna get off my ass this morning and straighten out the bumper on my car. It's resting on the muffler and the noise and vibration is driving me crazy.

I agree, jmo, even though making payments suck I think waiting and spending a little more would be a better value

Decided to go tackle that bumper. Things are messed up under there. I would have to drop the muffler to do the job, assuming I could find some area under there to push against. Found where it bent the frame. It's behind the rear axle, thankfully. But it has made a noticeable hump inside the trunk.

Screw it, I'll just live with it.

Part of the bumper is resting on the tip, and it has melted a little bit. I'll have to either replace the bumper bar (which has some crush damage) or cut out the bumper around the tip.

Try a block of wood on top of a floor jack to bend the bumper out of the way.
