Oh really? See I'm of the type that I will not accept defeat- I aim to be the top graduate from the academy. I have aspirations to work Patrol, SWAT, and hopefully work my way up to SGT... but unlike most JCSO deputies, I have ZERO aspirations to leave the Mountain Precinct and go work down in the city.

Yeah... You gotta start in the jail in JeffCo too, remember that. There's a ton of BS that you gotta wade through during the hiring process too... You can PM me if you wanna know. I've been through a few processes. Never failed out. Just haven't been picked or got beat on points.

Oh I'm aware of the starting in the jail bit, that's fine- although part of the motivation to be the best in my class is that usually the top 2 guys get their pick after graduation (from what current deputies have said of their classes- not sure if it's that way now).

Yeah... my buddies dad spent 10 years on JeffCo with their Long Gun unit (read: sniper) and was a reserve deputy for our entire time in HS... he said the best place to learn who you'll probably have to deal with a lot is the jail- that and it kinda gives you a bit of a baptism by fire.
