    Man, I must be punch drunk...yesterday was 18 solid hours of electrical troubleshooting a stubborn airplane, and 5 hours of sleep. I'm cracking myself up here...

    I hear ya. I started a new job about 3 weeks ago, so i'm no longer doing shift work (Thank God!) but my office hours are usually 7am - 5pm or later. I fix things when they break, so if something breaks at 5pm, i might be staying for a while. Last Tuesday, I was at work from 7am - 11:30pm... thankfully my boss told me I could come in at 9 for staying extra. It's certainly a mentally demanding job.
