Default Where to find .22 ammo

So long story short- Bought my Fiance a Browning 22 pistol so she can get used to a pistol. And luckily she actually likes the gun (totally stoked about this.) But I am unable to find ammo around the Alameda and Havana area. Anybody in the area that can help out? I am at wits end trying to find the stuff. Never thought it would be hard to find 22 ammo. But I stand corrected.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thx

SGAMMO.com had some Eley Sport 22 lr for 279.95 per case. Big R here in Trinidad has a ton of Remingotn Subsonic, but it is $40 a brick.

Hit your local walmart after 10 pm. That seems to be when they stock it near me.

Seriously. Think about this. 22LR is the most common rifle AND pistol round, not self-sustainable, and the machines are not as flexible as centerfire cartridge producing machines. I'm pretty sure rimfire cartridge machines are caliber specific, but I know there are considerably fewer than the centerfire machines. Once the warehouses were out, good luck finding it regularly for at least a year or more.

I haven't had less than 5k on hand since 2010. No, it's not for sale. Two years ago you could by cases of this stuff. History repeats itself...
Mom's comin' 'round to put it back the way it ought to be.

They won't sell it to you after 10pm though.
