Default Clear Creek, June WITH PICS

This Saturday there will be an IDPA match at the Clear Creek Sportsmans Club in Dumont, just west of Idaho Springs.

The side match will be a BUG match.

More details at www.fridpa.com or email me direct.

My deployment plans changed and I will (should) be there. Anyone else?

I think three or four of us Springs guys are coming up. How many shooters can you fit in a bug...

I am going to be doing sign-up and stats. With any luck I wont be stuck on the timer and can take some pics.

    See you and Patti Saturday.

Looks like our database crashed and we lost a bunch of posts.

Thanks to everyone that made it out, 28 shooters with a lot of them opting to shoot the back-up gun side match. Results went out Saturday evening and are posted at www.fridpa.com Here are the pics again...

From inside your "car" engage targets while seated. A texas star, two poppers and some paper targets could be found downrange.

Here is Patti hammering away with her Smith 99 compact. Bonus points for shooting the whole match with a BUG.

After shooting the targets on the left side, this shooter goes for a reload with retention over the dreaded Tactical/Schmackital reload.

Coming around this side you had to engage the targets as they become visible while slicing the pie. The first target avail was a tough shot being just over the shoulder of the no-shoot. You can see where all the tape is.

Just like you are supposed to, this shooter engages the closest targets first.

This little gem of a ride lives in Idaho Springs. Note the hood pins, Rally lights, rope door handles, air horn on roof, ect. I hope this guy has a good alarm on it. Who wouldnt want to steal it?
