Wasn't sure if you guys had covered this one already or not. Didn't see it already, so I thought I'd give a quick once over of my experience.
Dave himself seems like a nice guy (if that's the same "Dave" that I found myself conversing with) although he's hardly ever around. Ed's a straight shooter in terms of giving you the lowdown on what you're buying. I've been in several times and he's always been happy to chat about the stuff I was looking at without making me feel small for not knowing it inside and out. (I HATE that... if I already knew everything about a particular model... why would I ask about it?) He's also a realistic shooter in that he realizes the difference between life-or-death type scenarios and when you just want to have some fun with a cool looking gun. I like that. Too many overly-serious shooters out there in my opinion.
On a somewhat unrelated note - just to show everybody how nearly-famous I am  the British-sounding guy in there is in a band that's opening for another band this Friday night, whose lead-guitarist happens to be dating my girlfriend's best friend. *winks and laughs at self.* So you all can start forming the autograph request line any time now...
Anyway, I generally find that Dave's is somewhat overpriced on most items, but there are some great occasional deals to be found on their consignment/used rack. All in all, I buy my used guns there (as opposed to most pawnshops who generally don't know what the hell they're selling, as I've found.) and my new firearms from budsgunshop.com or sniperpx.
Have you guys got any experiences to add?
