I picked up a new upper for my AR today 16" flat top, with a Holland Quick Discharge Brake

looks ok, I don't like the fit of the brake though.

you'll need to do a range report.

If you ever showed up to shoots you wouldn't need reports. [poke] Karl.

me either, we are tryin to come up with a way to make them match, and the only way is to take about 1/8" off the end of the barrel and then mill some more off the brake because if we just milled the brake to match the barrel comes through the first port.

Not only that the barrel is just a hair over 16" long so we have to watch it on that portion also. It will eventually get fixed,
it seems that holland makes their brakes for very thin profile barrels
Paul and JMK said that the last one he did was the same way.

put about 150 rounds through it at the range, its nice, the brake seriously helps control the muzzle. It has less muzzle jump than my 20" upper does and this one is a hellofalot lighter

over all i like it, it was money well spent
its nice to have an AR you can shoot off hand with without killing yourself. Its still portly for a 16" but its completly livable
