    Default Tri-Lakes Shooters Supply

Apparently Monument has a new gun store. I was driving by and saw their sign, pretty nice place inside. Prices are decent and the staff was actually pleasant and helpful! The total opposite from what I've gotten out of the staff at specialty. Plus they do a LE/Mil discount, so that helps out too!

Dan and Angela are great! I bought a M6A3 from them and could not be more pleased with the transaction. My brother in law and father in law have bought four guns between the two them and are very happy with the product and the staff. There prices are very fair. For the most part they are on par with the many internet stores. If they don't have it in stock Dan will order it for you. When they are not hammered busy they are a joy to talk to. I buy most of my firearms products on the internet, for the simple reason that it's usually cheaper. I looked for a few hours and the cheapest price I could find for the M6A3 was about a hundred dollars less, after shipping and transfer fees It would have been maybe fifty bucks in my pocket. That to me is amazing! I called many other stores to find that no one could touch the price Dan quoted me. The pistole that my brother in law bought was about two hundred less than what I have seen them for online. They have a decent selection of products there from magazines to reloading supplys. I am thrilled about the reloading supplys as i do not want to drive to the Springs to find a cookie cutter store to buy reloading supplys from. The selection is not huge at Tri-Lakes. There is no way that a small busniess owner could have everything that you want/need on the shelf in the hopes that it will sell. For the size of the shop there is a ton of great stuff there. The fact that Dan and Angela seem more than happy to order whatever it is that you need more or less negates them not haveing every item I could ever want on the shelf. From tacticool to hunting Dan seems to have a very informed and reasonable opinion on what you are considering buying, that he will share with you if you ask. I am not a fan of going to a gun store and looking at a gun just to listen to how it's a sissy caliber or foreign pile of unreliable garbage. I like to hear peoples opinions when I ask for them not when I am looking at something. If you are in the area or even if you aren't you should stop by and check the store out. I will be spending most of my free time and money in there from now on. I have been turned form a internet purchasing junkie to a local supporter in one fell swoop! Forgive the spelling errors.
