    Good job!!!!!
When I relised that it was not a family member making the sounds coming from my garage area, I readied my firearm (round in the chamber, hammer back, finger OFF trigger, laser engaged). When I got closer to my kitchen door and realised that the sound was someone prying and attempting to force their way into my home, I took action to stop the threat. Opened the door, raised my firearm, finger on trigger, with the intent and mindset to deal with the threat acordingly, leathal force if needed. The surprise and tactical advantage I had gave me complete control of the situation. Had the the perpetrator not imeadietly complied with my instructions or made an agressive movement, I would have shot him. When he complied and was on the ground, police in route, I moved my finger outside of the trigger gaurd so there would not be a negligent discharge.

The safety was never engaged on my weapon. I keep my "nightstand gun" in a biometrics safe by my bed. It is a Beretta 92fs w/crimson trace grips. I leave it unloaded with a full magazine in it, safety off.

I went to testifyand didn't get to. The defendant managed to get a new charge while awaiting trail on my case. His new charge is felony stalking. The DA siad they will most likely plea my case felony criminal teresspassing and go with a stricter sentance on the felony stalking.
Any way this scumbag is incarcerated with 2 pending felony cases.

OK, so I was supposed to go to court on Friday 20th for motions and pretrail for this case. The prosecution and I found out that on Friday 14th this idiot was arrested agian and charged with possesion of a controlled substance. Now I'll have to wait agian to see what evidence and details go along with his new charge. SO far this loser has a pending felony criminal tresspassing, pending possesion of alcohol by a minor, pending felony stalking, pending felony possesion of a controlled substance.
The DA is not looking to plea down my charge because it is the most solid evidence wise of the first three charges. They would most likly drop the alcohol, and plea down the stalking to criminal mischiff.
Now we wait to see how the drug charge is going to work out.
The worst part of all of this is he has already bonded out and is roaming the streets probably looking for his next crime.

That's the way it usually works. A limited number of criminals creating an unlimited number of crimes.
