Bought an ATV from a forum member yesterday. Excited to get it running and put a plow in it.

Even with a plow I've been told you should plow with the snow, not wait for it to pile up 3' tall. So I don't mine going out several times to make a few passes. I'm on gravel also so traction is not an issue. I've read that chains on pavement can tear shit up.

Can't wait to try it out. I got into wet shaving to save money. ("Ohh, a straight razor will last me forever!") That did not work out so well.

I never run chains on pavement or not. Decent tires and if needed strap weight to it. Keep your air and speeds low.

Measure to the bottom of the chassis and plow before it gets that high if possible. You can't really drag with them. Keep wrenches and cable clamps on hand so you can repair a broken cable.

New door. Just when I think I'm about to get a new rifle or grill or something, life gets in the way and I get to spend a bunch of money on an underwhelming necessity.

Yes. The salesperson said it's pretty much a waist of money to insulate unless the garage is adjacent to a bedroom (for noise) but my wife wanted it. I think it was an extra $100.
