The Great Kazoo's Feedback

Yup, exhaust manifold/turbo housing flange gasket. 2004.5 CTD 5.9L. Had to replace a leaky one... and then found something more.
Yup. Farmed that out due to broken manifold bolts that I was not equipped or comfortable to repair myself. Additionally, the turbo exhaust housing had a crack and he was able to source a reasonably priced part from a trusted supplier and repair the turbo for me.
Blew the flange gasket out on the outboard side on my first hard pull, not 300 miles into the new parts, and then I found one of the nuts missing off the engine side firewall side stud. You can see that hole just to the lower left of the pyro port.
I put on prevailing torque nuts which I was surprised to find at Lowes (though not flanged, they were larger in diameter and fit the space.) Talked to the guy that did the work and he said he's going to start staking them from now on.
Pretty cool that BD puts a port on both sides of the split manifold. I used the back half as #4 is the shortest run and figured it would be the hottest.
That's the only thing I didn't have to take apart to fix. Downpipe would almost always be round unless some exotic.
The smaller two-hole gasket is for the bottom side oil drain. Replaced that too with a fresh one. The other o-rings are for various turbo parts I didn't have to get into. Two of them are for the oil line feed tube, but they're off spec a little with the factory ones which were still sealing well, so I left Them alone. recommend genuine MOPAR parts if you're gonna do one of these and want/need to replace all those seals. This was a MAHLE kit.

Herself, and it's ridiculous, even as little as a week or two ago, was pretty not happy with me taking it to work. Then I was watching some hooligans on youtube riding Groms and she asked me to put it on the big screen. A few nights of that and she was thinking of getting one, a few days more of being interested and on Saturday she wanted to go look at them. At that point I did push just do it try it, and worst case easy resale on these.
She'll take an MSF class, but went in the parking lot nearby and worked on what controls do and friction zone work and by the end was scooting off at 10mph in a straight line.
I still love my TI-89. Partial fractional decomposition, full symbolic integration, and direct algebraic logic instead of RPN, which I never quite got the hang of. The cover of mine still rocks a 1st generation Trijicon sticker. Great calculators.
Mine is an early 2000 vintage. I even found a picture of it from early in it's lifespan. All this stuff is dated now:

Math is tough. Let's go shopping!
I still have my HP-41c. RPN rocks, I could never go back to the AOS entry system.

Thought about one of those Bokers but went with the Schrade instead. Do the Bokers have a silly little safety switch for the button?

I'm digging the look and the price of those Bokers, they have several blade styles/colors, and handle colors.
