Beautiful piece. I've been meaning to get another 1911.

Nespresso Inissia w/ Aeroccino3 Milk Frother.

Although I already have the nespresso machine, I just could not resist the price on this.
It was open item, and everything works.

Why the cliff hanger? I suspect a grand presentation in the works.

Nope, the second thing is just way less photogenic at the moment. It is palletized with a partial 2x crate around it that they have secured with about 1700 #10 torx screws, and it is likely to be after Christmas before I get the chance to uncrate it. On the other hand, I got to teach my son a little bit about leverage. Thing weighs a thousand pounds, but he was able to hang on to the end of a Johnson bar and get it high enough that I could slide furniture dollies under it.

Anyways, under all that shrink wrap is a Hammer A3-41 16 inch combo planer jointer, that represents a pretty significant step up for me in the world of hobbyist woodworking:

I don't know why he wouldn't just put his security blanket down (probably trust issues), but when you work with cheap labor, you just have to put up with the quirks.
Math is tough. Let's go shopping!

Yep...never pass up a teachable moment. Learning about simple machines is a valuable lesson. Looks like that blanket is for biting down on...he's working pretty hard!

Look forward to seeing pics of planer and minion in action helping dad make smooth boards from rough boards.

Congrats on a great "improved" Colt. This old 1911 guy really appreciates finely crafted examples, thank you for sharing!
