Not sure if the pizza or the Sub 2K is the better score. I have a good time with my Kel-Tec. Fun little gun...

Gun registration is gun confiscation in slow motion.

Two of these, plus some handgun racks.

Interesting, those are just Akro bin wall panels.

    https://www.grainger.com/search?bran...ll+panel&sst=4

Gonna have to research this solution.

Just for the panels, it looks like Secure-it has better pricing than Grainger (no one every said Grainger was cheap!)

Good eye. I wonder if one could find those elsewhere cheaper. Secure it does sell all the components individually (the bases and barrel rests for the rifles, the pistol racks, etc.) They are definitely cheaper in the package by a lot (I always do the math on that stuff because some companies will bundle and not actually save you any money). The barrel rests are particularly nice with bungie cords to secure the barrel, and there is a spring held option too.

Nice thing about the Akro panels is you can get them in larger sizes and different colors.

To secure to the safe fireboard I discarded the fastners they supplied (basically cheap drywall anchors) and used these instead:

    https://www.homedepot.com/p/E-Z-Anco...5225/202055965

I think the size I actually used might be 25 lb instead of the 40 lb I linked to, they are smaller than the package of 40's I have for comparison.

I definitely overdid it on the fastners, I think I did 16 per panel. My logic was better too much than not enough.

To mount those, I took a utility knife and cut out a small square from the cloth that covers the fire board where the anchor goes, otherwise as you screw those in it grabs that fabric and bunches it all up.

Overall, I'm really happy with the solution.
