I found it... Henry X Model in 357. Such a joy to shoot everything from lower power 38 to full 357 loads. Threaded barrel really opens up the possibilities!

    Like.

I was hunting for one for about two or three years and then kind of gave up. Might be time to start looking again.

Shot it a few hours after picking it up. It's basically exactly what I always hoped it would be. Really thrilled with it.

I always wanted the .44 magnum version, be perfect with a whisper pickle, but like you, could never find one "anywhere" that was not apparently rare and gold for the seller, so held off to see what RUGER would do with the Marlin grab. Maybe wait a little longer anyway.

Went to the range today, someone sitting next to me had picked up a Henry X 44 magnum, I was very jealous, he said it took him a while to find one in stock. It was very nice/ his only complaint is the treaded barrel takes strange thread pattern and he could not find an adaptor for his CAN in stock anywhere. Still want one though.

I will buy meat just to burn the hell out of it and leave a carbon footprint that would make Bigfoot jealous if it pissed Greta Thunberg off.
