Any idea how the metal will effect the garden? I have plans to enclose my back patio with something similar.

We built this last weekend and I forgot to post the finished product:

Kit. Home Depot had their 4x4 (1ft tall) cedar kit on sale for $35. Three of them ($105) made this 4x8 (2ft tall) situation that you see here. I couldn't have bought the materials to make my own for much less than that. Lowe's had their 1cu ft of Miracle Grow Garden Soil on sale for $2 per bag so I had Home Depot price match 110% 28 bags ($1.80ea) for the setup you see here. I could have sourced soil from our local landscaping company but moving them in bags was WAY easier and I'm too old to be moving truck loads of shit by shovel full anymore.

The sticker wasn't a purchase, it was a freebie with a new go bag. But it made me happy deep down in my black little soul.
Because "better dead than red" and I want to "kill a commie for mommy" every time I see this ass on a t-shirt.

That's a good deal on those kits, I wish I would have known. I spent about $250 to build the two 4'x8' boxes. I was also contemplating getting that Miracle grow soil but there was some reviews that said it was more of an amendment than an actual soil. I have two teenage boys so I will likely just make them haul what ever I end up with.
