It fits without modification.
Unless Raptor updated theirs, it reportedly required some file work to fit.

Sweet Kahr and great price!Picked up a nice used Kahr K40 for only treefiddy!
I'm happy with it ... its an early factory black gun (so its carbon steel, not stainless). Emailed Kahr and they say it was manufactured September of 1996.
Love these steel Kahrs, this is the third one I've owned (the other two were MK Elite98s).
Actually looks better in person than in pics.

Are you planning on shooting it with the can cover on ? I thought that was a precision bolt gun thing. Won't it get too hot on an ar?

The inner core is good up to 2000° the outer sleeve is good up to 3000° it's good for about 4 full auto mag dumps before you should take a break.
