Latest purchase was 5 gals of 15w40 and some Transmission/Hydraulic fluid for the tractor. But, it's kinda boring.

On the other hand, I recently picked this little gadget up. Ambient Weather WS-2902 Personal Weather Station. Being a former weather forecaster I've wanted one of these for a long time. Got it hooked up with WU and WeatherCloud. It's fun.

Posted a pic of the stripped lower awhile back, but here is my "budget build" as it sits. I've got the standard trigger guard, but haven't installed it as I plan to get a magpul. I've got a line on an upper that I'll hopefully pick up this week sometime. The lower and LPK were purchased on gift cards putting this build at around $385 out of pocket.

Took a dive into the dark side with this Odin Works .300 Blackout upper, purchased from a forum member and apparently built by DangerLee. It's awesome!

Here mated with my DD lower, the Odin Works 16.1" SS barreled upper weighs 4 lbs. 2 5/8 ounces, 1/2 oz. lighter than the DDM4V11 upper. It's remarkably quiet and soft shooting with subsonic rounds. I'm looking forward to getting more target time with it later this week.

This will probably make my wife madder then anything I ever have or ever might bring home, including herpes:

According to Google Translate, "Das Keyboard" is German for "The Keyboard".

For the keyboard nerds, 5+ pounds of aluminum chassis, full mechanical action, and Cherry Brown MX switches. It has that old-school 90s keyboard feel that really appeals to my Engineer's soul.
It is also loud as hell, even though it is the quiet version. My wife hates loud typing, and when she returns from her retreat, she will probably break all my fingers and/or bash my skull in with it. But until she does, it is a sheer pleasure to type on.
Math is tough. Let's go shopping!

RE: Keyboard. That knob on the upper right, does it go to eleven?

RE: Saw blade. Is that the most awesome Sawzall blade ever, or something else?
