For $50, I couldn't pass this up. Excited to try some more smoking.

Don't tell CavSct. $25 at the same garage sale.

Default Peripole® Baroque Soprano Halo® Recorder

Peripole® Baroque Soprano Halo® Recorder (from website)

Already having lots and lots of fun.
I had alto Yamaha one since 1989 (since used less than 20 times), and it was F code. This will be a great addition.

Some ammo in the new caliber for load testing and practice in four position shooting.

Be interested to hear what you think of the Precision Hunter. That's the 308 load I use.
    My Feedback

Credit Zundfolge: The left only supports two "rights"; Buggery and Infanticide.
Credit roberth: List of things Government does best; 1. Steal your money 2. Steal your time 3. Waste the money they stole from you. 4. Waste your time making you ask permission for things you have a natural right to own. "Anyone that thinks the communists won't turn off your power for being on COAR15 is a fucking moron."

I will get back with you if I learn anything useful. What's been your experience with it on big game? Apparently the Precision Hunter is only made in 178 gr. for .308, and in 150 gr. for 7mm-08, which is slightly on the heavy side for both.

I'm not sure which cartridge I'll take for elk and moose this year. I've always used Nosler Partition hand loads in .30-06, 180, 200, and 220 RN, with good results. I want to learn more about the 7mm-08 before hand loading, and I don't have the time now. I'm leaning toward going lead free this year, and should have picked up the box of Hornady GMX this afternoon. The Barnes Vor-TX TTSX 120 gr. gets good reviews for elk and moose on a hunting forum I frequent. But gosh, all copper rounds are pricey.
