Default A small Heads up. LED lights.

    These caught my eye. http://www.cdnninvestments.com/blli.html

The lantern is a discontinued model and was in the mid $30 range at another closeout place. Good output and runtime. The flashlights if they are what they say they are a good deal. The $29 one was $65 on another site and the others seem to be less than 1/2 price. I did buy 3 lanterns and one of the $29 lights.

I will update this once I get them but thought I would let ya know. I will also do a test of the lantern with AA rechargeable batteries and adapters.

Tonight will be the test but for the $$ I am impressed. The flashlight for $29 has to be a great deal. Even in the daytime it lit up stuff like magic.

The adjustable lens works well and there does not seem to be a big difference between the low and high. Compared to a couple of lights I bought last year for $25 it is a winner.

The table lamps turned out to be good. I like the light pattern and the color is not bad. That has always been one of my big complaints about LED's.

That is why I made my own lamps for the camper was the color of the commercial units just about hurt.

The flashlight for $29 has to be a deal. It is bright, adjustable and I like it very much. Compared to a couple I bought in the past..... Very well built and feels good in the hand. If the 500 lumens one did not run on CR123 batteries I would like it as well.

    Thanks Jerry.

These (below) are also pretty darn good for the price. I actually got them at Costco (at the time they were like $15 for three). Pretty bright for any type of close-up work, 10-20FT ish. But they're great to throw one in your car, bag, drawer, tackle box, etc. The LED in this one is made by CREE which is one of the industry's best.

Looks like a good deal for the smaller ones. I paid $20 for one lamp like that last year.

I will say that the flashlight I got lit up the house across the street like no other. I was very surprised at that.
