Default Noob from ARFCOM checking in...

    Hello guys,

I'm a 19 year-old gun nut who goes to Red Rocks Community College and lives in Broomfield. I got a new LMT 16-inch AR carbine last month but I haven't been able to shoot it yet. I asked where good places to shoot are the ARFCOM Colorado Hometown forum and they said I should come here. Anyway, looks like a great site so far, and it's nice to meet you all.

Now, I haven't really had any training (I'm familiar with the basics of firearm safety ie, gun is always loaded, know your target and what's behind it, finger off the trigger and never point the muzzle at anything you don't want to destroy, but that's about it), is it okay if I come this weekend or is there a training requirement I have to get done first?

Sounds good. How long is the drive? (Not that it's a limiting factor, I drive from Broomfield to Lakewood four days a week for school so I'm used to a commute lol.)
