Check in usually around 0845.
Shooters meeting starts 0900.
Show up early to help setup if you want.
Showing up early *and* helping is highly recommended. Not only do the old heads appreciate it, but you can learn something about how to shoot a stage at the same time.
Sometimes if not enough people show up to help, they just start whenever the stages are set up. If thats 9:30 or 10:30, no matter.
You know I like my coffee sweet in the morning
and I'm crazy about my tea at night
AND.....(IIRC) if you show up early AND help set up, you'll get a discount
Dont come and watch, if you have the guns bring 'em and come shoot. That away you can do both, watch and shoot.
yep, you'll have plenty of time to watch.Originally Posted by The1andOnlyKC
here's how things work.
there are usually 4 different stages to shoot.
(stage = scenario)
the number of people who plan on shooting is divided up into 4 equal groups (sometime 3, if there is not too many people showing up)
each of those groups goes and shoots a differnt stage. when they are done with a stage they go to the next one.
you'll be able to see others go through the stage before you. and if you're a newbie we'll take extra care to see you through.
this is not a high pressure experince, it's pretty laid back and social. SAFETY is always a key factor!
bring your stuff, come out and have fun![]()
And dont worry about people giving you a hard time because you are new. I have never seen that happen yet. Everyone is friendly and helpfull.
Now if you mess up and one of us happen to spot it, you can bet there will be a few jokes made on the board about it. [abused] [abused]
