I've wanted to pick one of these up since I first saw it. Now I'm glad I did. It weighs less than a pound. It's tiny and dissapears no matter what I'm wearing. The .380 round is a little underpowered but this little gun holds 7 of them. If that doesn't do the trick then it probably won't matter what kind of gun I was carrying, anyway. I can see myself carrying this pretty much everywhere. Here are some pics.
This is one of the lightest, smallest shirts that I own. You still can't tell that I have it on me.
Hell you probably wouldn't be able to tell even if I didn't wear a shirt. Here it is in the little pocket above the real pocket that most pants have. Perfect fit
Here's a pic of it in my hand with the payload. 7 rounds of .380
Here's a pic of a .380 round next to a 147 gr 9mm Speer Gold Dot. It's not that much smaller.
I just got done at the range. I put about 120 rounds through it and it functioned almost flawlessly. I did have one stovepipe early on but that was probably a mixture of the gun breaking in and me limp wristing. The malfunction was quick and easy to clear. I love this thing even more now after having shot it. Here are the first 7 rounds that I put through it at 7 yards.
For the size it was suprisingly accurate. The gun is more accurate than I am, in part due to the hard to see bump that they call a front sight. I'm going to get some orange nail polish and see if painting it helps. Recoil was very managable. The trigger is great. For a double action trigger pull it's not overly long and it breaks evenly. Another common complaint is that it's hard to put more than 50 rounds through it without the gun punishing you. After 100 rounds I was only dissapointed that I didn't bring more ammo for it with me.
It's a steal at $200-$250. I always see them at local gun shows in that price range. Jensen's also keeps a bunch of them in stock for $230-$250 depending on what model you get. 5280 Armory usually has them in stock as well. I've never seen them at the big box stores (Sportsman's Warehouse and Gander Mtn). Even if you normally carry something bigger it still makes an awesome BUG. I love this gun and it'll almost definately go with me everywhere.
