Green Mountain Family Shooting Center

I've been away a while. I got this update a few weeks ago. Not sure if the information has already been posted.

"K2 Firearms has been reopened under new management and has been
renamed, GREEN MOUNTAIN Family Shooting Center. It will open September 1st. Hand loads will be allowed and a chronograph is available for rent for rifle and pistol use. Prices will remain the same with two targets provided free for both pistol and rife lanes. Negotiations are under way for the upstairs to be leased by a local gun shop. There had been rumors that K2 would be purchased by the owners of Green Mountain Guns. Despite the similarity in names, i was told that these are different owners. Seems like there could be a trademark issue here.

I went by there last week and it still wasnt opened.

GREEN MOUNTAIN is the name of that big "hill" in lakewood.

LOTS of stuff in the area is "Green Mountain <insert whatever here>"


would be nice for GMG to have a bigger place

I guess the good news was premature. I'm sure that we'll see it reopen at some point in the future but not yet.

I e-mailed the person who provided me with the previous update and got the following response.

"Bank has taken back the range. Guess Jim's attempt to refinance failed.
I will keep you advised if it reopens."
