New Part Time Job

Just got a part time position with a local PD, for traffic
control, and have to purchase my own equipment. I did not
realize how expensive that stuff is.

Bought pants and shirt almost cost me 125.00 and next i need
to buy my belt and shoes. Looks like another 140.00 to 170.00

Is this stuff usually this expensive? is it better to find
some place on the net to buy some of this equipment at a better
price? Like shoes, belt, radio holder, holster, key holder.

yup, duty gear is big money.
look on some forums or see if anyone is retiring from the dept and see if you can find used stuff.
