Default Alpha Omega Arms in Nampa, ID

Be glad you live in CO. This place is a joke......I'm only here visiting thank jeebus.

I have not been this insulted in quite some time. Quick insert about myself - I'm not sharing my personal background and I may not look the part (for this area anyways LMFAO), but I have aquired quite a bit of firearm knowledge in my years through various means - enough to know what I am looking at/for in a weapon when buying. I have never had someone call me a "fuckin' idiot" when it comes to firearms LOL.

I went into a store here in Nampa,Idaho called Alpha Omega Services - Armageddon Armory. I needed a couple parts.....but regardless, while we were in there I figured I would show my mother some of the things to look for when buying an AR since she had been wanting one. First think you will notice about this store will either be the "free bibles" signs and reference to biblical agenda, though it will not show in their behavior - or the price gouging, everything is between 30%-100% (est.) markup over what I would call standard prices (their shit makes Gunbroker look like a discount site).

Regardless, I think I started to piss them off when looking at an HK and explaining to my mother and wife about the action and one of the salesmen approached me and attempted to correct my statement of it being a blowback weapon with "it's actually a delayed roller action). I replied "yes, it's a delayed roller lock - I've rebuilt several" at which he quickly disappeared.

Next up we stopped by an AR57 marked at 1400, and extra mags at 99.99 each.......where I said "wow - look at that" and my wife said "what did we pay for ours, like 800".

Last stop, only AR on the shelf under 1000 dollars.....had a note on it that said "don't buy this AR - cast reciever" and some other nonsense - trying to push their overpriced ones I guess. I preceded to field strip it, pull the bolt and inspect the inside to see what kind of bolt/carrier they had used and to check the feedramp. I hear this "hey, you can't do that" from the back. Tone was a little misleading, like joking almost so I said "why not". He sees which rifle I have in my hand, and this clown precedes to beeline his fat ass right up into my face (nearly trampling my 6 year old daughter) and snatch the carrier and charging handle out of my hand before I can look at them. "You're a fucking idiot" he tells me, then says I am trespassing and to get the hell out of his store. He then tells me I'm on drugs and should go to a drugstore or some shit as we leave the store. What a joker.

I would never buy a gun without inspecting it, and I suspect that possibly this gun in particular may have been modified to malfunction (to enforce the "don't buy this crap, buy our overpriced ones" - either that or he was afraid I was actually going to buy it idk.

Regardless, whether they are up to shady practice or not is heresay since I didn't get a chance to inspect the internals. What I can say is they are apparently feeding off the ignorance of people in the area, and I would not advise anyone to shop there for any reason. For those of you new to the scene - they do not have anything in there you can't get elsewhere at a lower price.

Yeah they pissed me off. Even in chain stores like gander mountain I've never had someone flip out on me for pulling a bolt or a carrier from a rifle to inspect the action, and I don't think I have ever been booted from a gunstore. Maybe from a few bars, but not a gunstore lol. Probably scared him that it took me all of a second to have it apart...almost like I've done it a few times

Aparently I am the ass for not asking first before opening it, even though all the weapons are out for inspection in the store. Whatever though, dude blew up on me and no one in my family will frequent his store again.

My arfcom b***hing thread got locked as a shill? Isn't a shill where you try to sell something? LMAO. Arfcom gives me a headache anyways
