Ejection issues with the gen4 G17 & G19 and possibly others that is where the "gray area" is in web chat anyways. I researched this for two days as I was looking into a G19 for my aunt. It sounds for the most part that the issues is fixed but I am still hesitant.

Glock finally figured out that a two spring recoil system sucked ass, just like everyone else that's tried them over the last ten years has figured out. They should have left well enough alone in that part of the gun. On the 4th gens, and used the 3rd gen system. Engineers screwed up a great design with this recoil spring garbage. The huge hole on the slide and the cap on the front of the recoil rod is a tragedy waiting to happen too. it's sad. The rest of the additions to the gun are fairly nice and better than the 3rd gen option, but the recoil system is a terminal failure in the design. I've refused to own one because of it.
Mom's comin' 'round to put it back the way it ought to be.
Anyone that thinks war is good is ignorant. Anyone that thinks war isn't needed is stupid.
How might replacing or not replacing it affect the value?
Just call me 47
This is why I never jumped ship from Gen3 to Gen4 on my Glocks.
