I usually just SOS them. There tiny RS i don't think they could eat a mouse,

Also water during the hot months will attract them. We found many when I was a kid in NM this way. Also I was bit the day before Halloween so don't get cocky if it gets cold.
The little ones cannot control their venom either so be really careful.

I almost looks like a prarie snake, they imitate rs behavior to survive. Then again a rattler that small wouldn't have a rattle yet. Just to be safe always assume rattler lol. I need a better head shot to tell.

It looks identical to a prarie snake

Tauras judge! My buddy lives on "rattlesnake hill" out by hbarleatherneck and after several years he is finally getting the population down. If you can find the dens you can cut them down quick.
I seen one at like 9k feet about 5 years ago archery hunting. It was a cold foggy morning and I stepped out of the truck and stepped on it, was like 5am.
WOW 9K. That is pretty high. Didn't think you would ever see any that high. nights just get to cold up at that Altitude. I guess you never can tell.
Has 2 buttons, I heard it could be a Midget Faded RS, but I thought it looked like a Prairie RS. I'll get some better head shots.
