As usual I'll be looking for deals on ammo. I'll probably be on the lookout for some reloading equipment, too.

Don't know if I'll go or not yet.
Good reminder I need some more ammo. At least one case of 5.56 M193 or Winchester Q3131.
Did anyone have any 16" mid-length gas system AR upper assemblies?
yeah there is a guy from Utah there that always has a few middy's.
Stopped by the Machinegun Tours table, he was right.. he needed a few more tables
As usual there was a decent grouping of Flea Marketers...
Ammo was a bit on the scarce side. Even the folks I usually buy my .223 from had only brought 2k, so I settled for 500rnds of .45 FMJ.
Looks like 5280 is finally stepping up the quality of their accessories. Saw some Midwest Industries AR forearms, Pentagon and some other stuff that shows they are starting to delve into that higher quality range of products. Hopefully they'll keep that up.
All said and told I didn't find all I was looking for, but managed to snag a few things I had been eyeing. Heard a lot of vendors complaining about people just cruising by with their hands in their pockets. Then again a lot of the vendors who had gear or parts I was interested in were running 5-10% above MSRP... and then they wonder why they aren't selling anything!

All I needed to read, Guess I don't need anything that bad.
Sarcasm, Learn it, Know it, Live it....
Spleify 7-27-12Marlin is the end all be all of everything COAR-15...
Yeah, that bugs me too. I was trying to deal with this one guy who was selling a Glock 32 in 357SIG. It was all stock with two mags, a cheapo holster and half a box of WWB ammo. He wanted $550 for the whole thing. Now it was used but in good shape, but not worth $550. For that price I could easily buy one for less from a dealer. I was very respectful and tried to talk him down and tried to communicate that there were many dealers here who sold NIB Glocks for much less than that but he wouldn't listen. He knew it all. I just think it's funny how so many of these guys think their guns are gold plated or something.Originally Posted by BadShot
What is it with the fellas selling mostly crap magazines for 3x or 4x the going price anywhere else? One guy on the north side had used, out of wrap, scuffed and taped M14 mags for $75, and Steyr AUG 30rds for $130. EACH. WTF?! I checked the AR parts guy from Utah, but he didn't have what I wanted, so it'll be a custom order from CMMG. Found a few bits and pieces, odds and ends, but nothing spectacular. I did notice a lot of hippies and criminal elements in there today; no sh*t smell like hemp, unkempt, longhair, scruffy lookin hippies and moocs that looked like gangsters from tijuana. Between the two types, it seemed like they were casing the place for something. But I'm just a paranoid dude...
I've often thought that myself before.Originally Posted by Aardvark
We blew out a whole bunch of stuff. I sold probably 30 AR mags for $1 a piece. The guys that came early got the best deals. We sold whole bunch of barreled uppers (used T-marked) for around $200 a piece. All the scopes when cheap. We even sold some Bushmaster stripped lowers for $100. Cavalry Arms lowers also flew out the door for $120 complete.Originally Posted by BadShot
