Yes a long time ago. The bank has the property.

There's a rumor on that "other" AR15 site that it has a new owner, some outfit called 'Green Mountain.' The rumor is that this Green Mountain has no connection at all to the Green Mountain Guns at Kipling and Jewell.

However, I heard this on ar15.com, so take it for what it's worth.

They were going to lease the range part but Jim could not get the place refinanced and the bank took the property back.

I drove by there last night. There was a 'Green Mountain Shooting Center' banner posted over the K2 sign. None of the parking lot was plowed and it did not appear to be open.

I really would love for that place to open up again. Especially with how cold it is right now.

Update when I drove by as I do every single day on my way to work this moring, Jim and Kens trucks were out front. When I went by on my way home from work there was a sign up that said opening soon.

As long as those two idiots don't run the place it may have a chance. I don't know what is going on but something is happening.

If the same "A" holes open K2 again, they'll NEVER see a cent on my money.

It's open again (as of three days ago). Ken is not involved, but Jim is the owner still. I stopped by and spoke with a guy named Douglas, he was nice enough. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

If Jim is running it don't waste your time might as well shut the place down again. Oh and what are the range hours? Let me guess it's open when they feel like it? What ammo is allowed once again I bet it is determined on what side of the bed Jim got out of that morning.

I would not hold your breath Ken is still involved since his truck is there everday Jims is. I drive by that place everyday on my way to and from work. They have had the "Opening Soon" sign up for 4 months or better so I am willing to bet it won't last they are idiots when it comes to runing a business.
