Thermold AR mags. Mine work great. I have 10 maybe 15 of them.
The feed lips can and will crack.
$12 sounds good, although you can get new 30 rounders from Brownells for about that much.

I'll see if I can talk this guy down a little. My next ? for everyone is, would I be better off with Thermold mags or should I stock up on regular GI mags?

Just personal experiance, In the almost 7 years that I have had My Thermolds, I have had more GI mags give Me problems than they have.

I've been very happy with the Teflon coated D&H mags. I bought 10 last night for $10/each, $10.50 shipped.
