    Thanks for the tip BP. How many rounds would you figure before I check it? Don't want to shoot too much and damage anything.

    And, where might I find a reasonably price torque wrench so I don't have to bother my neighbor any more.

    I would think after 40-50 rounds if something is going to move you will know it by then. Pull the action after that amount and any signs of movement should be obvious.
    As far as a torque wrench look at midway or cheaper than dirt. Expect to spend near $50.00 at least. If you go to buy one locally make sure it is INCH POUNDS and not FOOT POUNDS.
    Put 65 ft/lbs to actions screws and you will learn words you never thought existed. Or if you want to slide by I will snug them for you for Pepsi moolah.

    OP look at the Borka tool, it has torques on it for scope rings, bases, actions, all of it. It is the shit, will run ya a few bucks but invaluable tool packs up nice and slides right in your bag or pack. Mile High Shooting Acc. sells them, other to but that is where I picked mine up and those guys up there are great to deal with.
