Default The Elite II is gone

it never gets shot so I decided to trade it in. I got a Tikka Lite .308 bolt rifle. should pick it up here next week sometime. Hopefully it gets shot more than the EII did. It was a toss up between a Savage, Remington, and Tikka. I chose the Tikka, one because I am a dedicated Beretta fan, and 2 the last Savage I owned didnt impress me much. We will see how she does when I get it.

on another good note, I got my Brig slide in for the Beretta 92 Vertec project I am building. Havent even taken it out of the beretta sealed plastic. Looks to be packed in cosmoline, should be fun cleaning this stuff.

here is the pistol i traded in

and here is the rifle I am gettin

This one that I am building is going to be a nice shooter. It's a vertec frame, with a Brig slide. Will eventually get it all NP3'd(frame, slide, barrel, and all internals). Ordering a Comp-Tac holster next week for it. This is going to be my new games gun. IPSC/IDPA.

If I kept the EII I would have mutilated it. That SS slide was just begging to be polished, and would have turned it into an all out comp gun. So I got rid of it before I destroyed a beautiful gun.

will get the vertec and slide put together tonight and post pics.
