Just wondering if anyone else is hunting out of state? I am heading to Michigan to hunt the rut... i get in on the 27th of october and will be there until the 6th of november... wish i could stay longer but no can do!

I went O for everything out here this year! drew on 2 different bulls and couldnt get an arrow through the brush so didnt shoot.. and then my deer and bear hunt in unit 20 sucked! Not much sign of anything but people on the public land! only saw one doe i could shoot and my buddy spooked her!

so im looking forward to going back to my home town and trying to shoot a buck and doe!

havent found anything out here that tastes as good as whitetail...elk is close... but its not whitetail!

anyone else headed out?
